~sigh~  This was covered last month.  Read the archives for the comments 
of people more knowledgable than myself for detailed explanations.

  It has been established that this "Good Times" virus does not exist.  The 
only damage the "Good Times" thing does is to scare everyone into sending 
warning letters all over.

  So in that sense, it is a virus: it causes people to spend time writing 
and worrying about it, rather than doing something productive.
