I admit, my first fic was Ranma.  But my second ("Desperate Measures" - 
yes, this is a shameless plug!) wasn't.  A Ranma character shows up, but 
it's not a Ranmaverse fic at all.  I personally think that right now, in 
the rough draft stage, DM is a better fic than that first Ranma one.  
Part of that may be that I wrote the Ranma one first, but they were 
written only a couple/few months apart, which wasn't really enough time 
to drastically improve my writing.

Part of the challenge of Ranma fics for me is to give the characters 
depth while keeping them in character.  Nabiki shows up in DM, doing 
some things she doesn't really do in the Ranma manga or anime.  The 
challenge for me was to try and have her do those things while staying in 
character.

was that the advantage of the ML was that bad-tempered or noisy members

Okay, can't resist a plug:  I'm working on "Galaxy Police Mihoshi's 
ACADEMY DAYS", the story of Mihoshi and Kiyone's first meeting, which 
will illustrate just how powerful Mihoshi is.  (Really!  The anime's 
full of examples if you look in the right places...)  I'll have the 
first chapter for your perusal shortly, hopefully after this weekend.

It'll have had some revision by then, but it will still be rough, so any 
C&C will be VERY welcome and appreciated!!  This is the story listed by 
my name for the Fanfic Panel at A-kon, and I'd like to have it in decent 
shape and up on raac by then, if possible.
