I should have said "first episode of the Ranma."  Kunou finds out from 
Nabiki that Akane is engaged to Ranma (whew!), and Ranma's in the same 
room, so he gets yelled at by Kunou.

Am I right?  I'm too lazy to check out the anime really quick, and 
Japantown is always sold out of manga #1.  So I'm relying on memory.

Wrong, AFAIK--Nabiki tells Kuno, he goes hog-wild, gets sent out of 
class, *then* confronts Ranma.
