Everyone gets the impression that Shampoo is a bubble-head from OAVs like 
Desperately Seeking Shampoo, which does have Shampoo acting a 
bubblehead.  This is mostly a wrong, but understandable, impression, as 
most people are limited to only the English versions of Ranma and thus 
haven't gotten a chance to see the *actual* characterization of Shampoo 
in the anime and manga.

It's because CHINESE is her first language...I'd like to see the 
rest of the characters who are japanese, try to speak chinese
without an accent....I don't think they could....hey for that matter...
I'd like to see anyone try and speak fluently in a second language
that they never learned in a class or with books or anything...
Look...basically what I've been trying to say for a while is
that all the characters in Ranma1/2 ..like the important ones,
must have more than a 1 dimensional character...or else how could
they possibly have stayed on the manga for so long?
