Given Belldandy's general innocence, I have a great deal of
trouble accepting her in a lemon, though I probably wouldn't have the
same problem with Urd. Keiichi falls somewhere in between; depends on how
it's handled. (He's had his share of impure thoughts... though given his
resistance when Urd tried to seduce him, I'd have to see some reason why
he'd acquiesce in this case.)<<

Really! What if it's between Belldandy and Keiichi, that's quite possible
to me, and acceptable too. Besides, who else is she likely to make out
with anyway? She has her innocence, but she's mature already.

She might be mature, but in everything I've seen (admittedly, right now
that's just the OAVs and the Dark Horse translations, plus what I've been
able to puzzle out from Vol. 11 w/o translations) she doesn't seem to
have any sign of even the slightest hentai interest; remember the episode
when Aoshima played peeping tom, and she didn't seem to have the
slightest idea that being seen nude was "naughty?" There's no sign in her
character that she'd ever take the initiative in something like this.

Keiichi, as I said, has his share of hentai impulses... but he's too shy
(or nice, or inhibited, or... take your pick) to act on them. Look at
what happens when Urd first shows up -- she practically has to frog-march
him into doing anything, in both the manga and the OAV. When she tries to
seduce him in the manga, he resists the first time. The second time, he
only complies because Urd convinces him that it's needed for Belldandy...
and even then, he's hesitant, and has to keep trying to convince himself.
Also, from what I've been able to puzzle out from the artwork in Vol. 11,
Peorth tries to seduce him, and he refuses. I don't think there's any way
*he's* going to take the initiative, either.

It gets back to what I said about characters. When the canon material of
a series establishes a personality for a character, I expect the
character to stick to that personality in a fanfic... unless the changes
are a natural extension of the personality, or unless the author gives a
convincing reason for the difference. The AMG canon material I've seen
has established that neither Keiichi nor Belldandy will take the
initiative, and neither one has shown any signs that they'll change...
The only way I could see something lemony happening between them would be
if some external force intervened -- and given the way Fujishima has
consistently avoided anything more than teases, it'd have to be a pretty
darned convincing external force to get me to believe it.

In case you
didn't know, there _are_ lemons involving Keiichi and Belldandy out there
already. Good ones too, so I'm told.

I've seen a couple of them, and I didn't find them even remotely
convincing.

people like the series they like,
you write in a series you like, and people who don't like the series you
like aren't likely to like your fanfics.<<

Try saying that fast five times!

Nope. *I* wrote it. *You* get to say it. ^_^
