Actually... now that this is brought up, Ryouga could be easily beaten by 
most martial artists if he and Ranma never met. ^_^  Why?  Well, most and 
all of his special abilities came from Cologne who did the training to 
test and prepare Ranma. Since Ranma never went on trip, never met 
shampoo, and hence shampoo did not follow, and Old hag did not follow 
great grand daughter, then... no training for Ryouga. Aughh.... ^_^

Due to the fact that Ranma's memories (and hence training skills) were
intact, he should be able to hold his own agains Ryouga (should a meeting
like that ever occur  ^_^ ).  That was the reasoning behind Ranko's training
of Ranma in Part one.  Ranma's mind knew moves that his body wasn't quite
prepared to execute.  Ranko's training was needed to attune Ranma's body to
his thoughts.
